A pilot of the Human Reform League.
Soma (aka Super Soldier Number 1), is a product of the HRL's Super Human Research Institute, and was developed to be the perfect soldier.
As a Super Soldier, her body and nervous system have been enhanced, her combat capabilities far exceed those of normal Mobile Suit pilots, and she can use Quantum Brainwaves.
Somewhat devoid of emotion, she has little interest in anything other than completing her mission, but her commanding officer Sergei Smirnov treats her like a human being, and she learns to love him as a father.
Soma is assigned to Chobu, the special forces squad led by Sergei, and fights Celestial Being's Gundams on many occasions. She eventually develops a strong sense of rivalry toward Allelujah Haptism due to the interference caused by his Quantum Brainwaves.
