Graham is a Flag Fighter affiliated with MSWAD, and his outstanding skills as a Mobile Suit pilot are evident in achievements like pulling off a mid-air transformation (dubbed the "Graham Special") in his Union Flag, which is a maneuver the suit was not even designed for.
Although Graham is loyal to his mission, a proud soldier, and serious to a fault, he also has a passionate side, as shown by his obsession with Celestial Being's Gundams.
After first seeing Celestial Being's Gundam Exia at the AEU's military training grounds and later squaring off with the Exia, he ended up getting transferred to the Anti-Gundam Investigative Squad. He was later appointed leader of the Overflags (the 8th Independent Tactical Fighter Squadron) and continued his dogged pursuit of Gundams.
