Second-in-command to Shiva, who plots to prevent peace between PLANT and the Earth Alliance. He first met Shiva via the Zodiac Alliance, and they have worked together at multiple points throughout the course of their political activities. He often plays a supporting role to Shiva, and he eventually became her second-in-command when she was promoted to commander after the founding of ZAFT. The death of his parents at the hands of Naturals is a factor in his strong support of Patrick Zala and his eponymous faction. Following the Second Battle of Jachin Due, he persuaded Shiva to break away from ZAFT. He continues to rally Zala faction soldiers to their cause while waiting for the right moment to return.
