A member of ZAFT's Creuset Team and the designated pilot of the Blitz Gundam. He is a gentle boy who has no heart for fighting, and enlisted in hopes of doing his part to end the war more quickly. Chronically unable to harden his heart, Yzak Joule and Dearka Elsman called him a coward. He proved himself otherwise on multiple occasions, such as when he infiltrated and destroyed the Artemis military stronghold as a solo op. He is close friends with his teammate Athrun Zala, and often intercedes on Athrun's behalf when Athrun gets into arguments with Yzak and Dearka. As a member of the Creuset Team, he took part in the attack on the neutral colony Heliopolis and succeeded in capturing the Earth Alliance Force's G Weapons. After that, he continued working with the team to pursue the Archangel.
