AKA "Ed the Ripper," an Earth Alliance Force pilot.
He was originally a fighter pilot for the United States of South America, until the USSA's integration by force into the Earth Alliance.
He then became a member of the Earth Alliance military.
He achieved only middling results as a fighter pilot, but he began to shine once he started piloting Mobile Suits. He is especially gifted in hand-to-hand suit combat; his nickname of "Ed the Ripper" comes from the time his suit came back from the frontlines splattered in the oil of enemy suits he had slashed through, making it look bloodstained.
Despite his name, he has no true thirst for battle. Outside of his suit, he is a friendly jokester popular with the soldiers.
