Daughter of Lord Uzumi Nara Athha of the Orb Union. A go-getter who believes that actions speak louder than words. She is Kira's sister, but is a Natural herself. She visited Heliopolis in secret to figure out what her father was up to, which put her in the wrong place at the wrong time when ZAFT attacked. Kira rescued her, and she was returned safely to Orb. She did not stay home for long, however; she fought against ZAFT as a member of the Desert Dawn resistance movement. There, she was reunited with Kira through sheer coincidence, and forced her way onto the Archangel. When the Earth Alliance Forces launched the invasion of Orb, Uzumi chose to share the fate of his nation and sent Cagalli away to space aboard the Kusanagi. Witnessing her father's death was a devastating blow to her, but she was able to move on with some support from Kira and Athrun Zala, and emerged with a new level of emotional maturity.
