Supreme leader of the reborn Neo Zeon forces. He is an ace pilot also known as the "Red Comet."
He is the son of the Zeon founder Zeon Zum Deikun, and plans to purge the people who have remained behind to contaminate the Earth, thus forcing humanity to reform into Newtypes.
During the Gryps Conflict, he fought under the name Quattro Bajeena and tried to reform humanity.
But after seeing how corrupt the Federation government and the other people of Earth were, he decided to take drastic action, reviving Neo Zeon and planning Earth's destruction by freezing it with a nuclear winter.
He has a long history with his arch-nemesis, Londo Bell ace pilot Amuro Ray, but he hopes that this war will put an end to their rivalry.
